I did the sketch while brett, beth and myself watched the daily show. I decided to mess around with coloring it in photoshop.

Slow and Steady

I have been messing around as much as I can with drawing. Someday I really plan on taking this fine art stuff serious. The drawing of the girl is a friend of mine from Stockholm who was gracious enough to let me draw her.

Bomgren Sketch

I just got back from Sweden. This family took us out on their private lake fishing. I gave this to them before we left for the states.

6 drawings at 20 mins a piece = animation! I think I am going to continue to explore this idea. So this was all done live and on the spot. Pretty crappy photography though.

summer sketching

i do a lot of sketching while at church. a couple of these were on the day that my brother returned home from tulsa oklahoma. one I used a photo on it is a huge piece of paper something like 3 feet by 4 feet in size.

Experiments in Marker

I have finally started painting again. This was about a 20 mins worth of work. It is difficult and fun trying to paint so quickly. I am pleased with the result.

Line Quality?

So I have really been trying to push and develop various types of marks. These are a couple of the more successful drawings. I make a lot of bad drawings these days but it's always fresh and new whenever I draw. I usually don't spend more than 90 minutes a drawing.

Jan 14-19

I thought I would try for messing with more "style" on this one. The model had an interesting face and cool tattoos. She was difficult to draw, I think because of my angle and her proportions.
